Fasting

If you're curious about fasting, then this is for you ...
The attached file is scanned from Dr. Ogden’s writings in 1959 and details his observations and successes with fasting animals. It's an interesting read!
Dr. Donald Ogden, D.V.M. did extensive research and use of fasting in dogs, cats and other animals. He found the use of extended fasts helped tremendously with skin irritations. And that three to ten day fasts were very beneficial for many conditions, including obesity, rheumatism and arthritis, constipation, chronic cardiac insufficiency, bronchial diseases, heartworm, kidney and bladder stones, gastritis, kidney disease, pyorrhea, diabetes, liver disorders (unless cirrhosis has developed), open sores, and the fever stage of distemper. Dr. Ogden also fasted many dogs and cats for up to FIFTY (50) days and always saw excellent results. How incredible is that?
